In 2020, Callery VFC officers started a program to ensure all members stay up to date with their skills. We know life gets busy, and sometimes members can’t make it to the firehouse for regular trainings.

What is a JPR? (Job Performance Review)
These are hands-on skill evaluations, adapted from Firefighter I standards and tailored to fit our department’s needs and opportunities. They cover essential areas such as:
• Ground ladders
• Water supply
• SCBA knowledge
• Hoseline packing & deployment
…and more.

We have three active brigade membership types: Interior, Exterior, and Support. Completing JPRs ensures members remain qualified and, for interior members, stay on the “interior list” for the following year.
