Notable Happenings
• A working fire occurred in our first-due area. Chief and Engine 1 were on scene within 5 minutes of dispatch for a working fire in the Adams Township area of our district. Crews worked extremely hard for 3.5 hours in sub-zero temperatures.

Forward Twp Vehicle Fire

This morning at approximately 7:30 a.m., Station 19 was dispatched alongside Stations 20 and 62 to Brownsdale Rd, Forward Twp for a motor vehicle accident with a vehicle on fire and one occupant still inside. While responding, Station 62 requested Squad 98, and Captain 20 requested Station 12.

Tonight (9/18), Callery VFC hosted a joint training with departments from Middlesex Twp, Connoquenessing, Harmony, and Evans City.

Tanker Operation Training

Callery VFC, August 12

Last night, our members traveled to Evans City on an off-training night to sharpen our skills with a new tanker operation tactic.
Since much of Forward Township and Adams Township, surrounding area has no fire hydrants, our crews often rely on tankers to shuttle water to the scene.
